NEXT TO YOU

Shivering, soaked

darkness cloaks

Thunder quaking

cold limbs aching

Thighs pressed tight

storm clouds bright

Lightning flashes

clings to lashes

Plastered hair

electric air

Slick skin drips

pale blue lips

Tongue on teeth

bitten cheek

Wind blown words

unheard
