They say it's what's inside that counts.

So why is there plastic surgery, collagen enhancement, make up and hair dye?

 

They say the shots are safe and effective.

Then why are so many young people dying of heart attacks and turbo cancer?

 

They say “fat is beautiful”.

So why does obesity make you sick and ashamed?

 

They say meat is bad.

Then why does it make you strong?

 

They say vegans will save the planet.

So why do they lose 5% of their brain capacity?

 

They say sugar is fun.

Then why does it hurt you with diabetes, syndrome X, and

dementia?

 

Think about it.

If what they say is true, why do you hate youself and despise your own body?

Why are you so anxious, depressed, suicidal, grief-stricken, and in pain?

Why are you hiding in your phone?

Do you really need more drugs, sugar, alcohol, cannabis, and screen time?

Do you need more fake “Friends”?

 

Who owns your body?

The liars and the greed merchants?

The shamers and the blamers?

Your parents, your partner, your fear?

 

“They” tell you to love yourself

Then they make sure you know you can never be enough

and no one will love you

if you're not thinner, taller, sexier, richer and pretty much perfect.

 

But what if no one will love you anyway?

Until you decide that YOU'RE OKAY

And what “they” say is nothing?

 

Just asking...
